Today my favourite temporary bookmarking website Instapaper made some updates to their service.
If you haven’t sipped the Instapaper Koolaid yet the site allows you to create an account where you can temporarily store websites to “read later”. Simply clicking a bookmarklet saves your current to your user page for later consumption.
Due to it’s simplicity Instapaper has always been a great way to shuttle links from your computer to a mobile device. The site is designed to load quickly and clearly in mobile browsers. Mobile compatibility has taken an even greater step forward in instapaper as you can now click (or tap) a simple “text” button and have any of your saved webpages displayed in a mobile-optimized, text-only page. This is great for viewing on phones or basic devices that choke on content heavy sites.
The rest of the new changes can be found on instapaper’s site here
